Students will be assigned to create a magazine cover about one of two options: the Fast Cars Magazine— displaying a red car image and other incorporations into the project— or a magazine cover displaying a topic of the student's choice! This particular student chose to do the Fast Cars Magazine. They'll use their creativity to show their abilities developed with the Photoshop module, and have fun with it. Skills learned are the application of design principles, organization/management of Photoshop layers and typography, including proper citations with no copyright issues, and more.

Welcome to Exotic Pets, another fictional company that's broadening their horizons! Here, you'll find foreign animals waiting for a new home, all of which could be the customer's own. Students will make sure they remember design principles and how to validate their HTML code, along with uploading their site and making it completely responsive to all devices. They can also be creative with this project, as they can choose their own animals to present on their site! This particular student presented animals such as the chinchilla, the ferret, and more.

Enjoy the chance to get a closer look at some wildflowers! Students will get information and research about wildflowers from the National Park website, practicing their ability to make websites available to use for computers, tablets, and mobile devices. They'll then use their research to write about their chosen flowers, showing them off in their website's gallery! Some skills learned are creating a responsive page and content layout, validating their HTML code, properly displaying images within figure elements, ensuring their design consistency with CSS, and more.

Sometimes, in the waves of change, we find our true direction. Welcome to Sustainable Seas, a brand dedicated to saving the ocean and educating visitors to their website! Students will have the chance to choose their own color scheme, fonts, and sea creature that they'll research! They will decide on a specific environmental concern of the ocean, and research it and how it affects their chosen sea creature. Some skills learned are creating website navigation, site responsiveness, typography choices, and BootStrap website features such as buttons, badges, cards, hero image and text, etcetera. You could also end up using this site to get extra credit in your science class.
